new phone. what a blessing?????????????
so I'm a little bummed. I got a new phone today, it's cool, it has a camera on it and it's all black and shiny. The thing is I upgraded my plan and I LOST MY FREE CALLING TO CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so sad about it. It's an extra $14 a month to get it but then it's only 450 minutes, and before it was unlimited for free. I only asked about it AFTER we had finished doing the upgrade. I'm such an idiot, too. I could have just bought a new phone and had him change the vin number, keeping my old plan! So ends a period in my life. without my knowledge I completely cut off my friends from the free talking. It's not like I won't call Canada again, but I rather enjoyed the long conversations, free of guilt and debt. I''m so pissed off and sad about it. But the camera is cool. My home plan is better, the whole US is my home area, no roaming anywhere. Thats cool I guess, but not when most of your closest friends aren't in the US! I guess I'll have to just rely on the internet and good 'ol blogging.

thougth surely you have now also extended your sontract - i will tell you. in addition to cingular also havng the nationrate plans with no roaming, no longdistance anywhere in your fine country - which i understand you're on right now - cingular also offers NORTH AMERICA PLANS, so basically the home calling area beocmes all of canada, usa, and mexico including hawaii and alaska, any calls made anywhere and from anywhere within northamerica take away only from your package minutes.
likely your crappy provider offers one similar, which you could move onto, and id otn know how much you're paying a month, but if i remember correctly the cingular nationrate plan w 600 anytime minutes and unlimited night and weekends is 39.99 a month plus applicable taxes. that's 39.99 for unlimited n/w minutes which can be sued calling canada to your hearts content.

Aww that stinks! The good news is I'm in the US which means calling me is absolutely FREE! Forget those Canadians, all you need is me!

you know since you put it that way , Leslie, I almost feel like I should. Though it will cost me $300 to cancel early with Verizon. I can get a N American plan too but it's $60/ month and only 450 min. I will still call though, it's fun to chat with you.

they MAKE plans like that for clee phones!? who knew. well i guess all of guys do. i don't know much about cell phones. i bought mine used, and i pay by the minute. i don't use it very often, because welll....i don't want to pay for two phones. besides phoning is supposed to be conveniant and what is conviniant about people thinking that you should always be available? but anyway jason i think you should phone me someday. EVRYBODY shoudl phone me. ignore my rant about not liking being available.

Hey, I saw that yearbook! Waayy back when... I hadn't remembered until now. When Brit and I worked together, she whipped it out because she wanted me to see all the people she talked about so much. Wow, that was so long ago and I don't actually remember anything I saw... But I do remember seeing it- funny!
