the end is near. ;)
here's a random thought that i should say before I look like a loser. I have been saying for a few years now that i think 2006 will be the year we start seeing prophecies fulfilled in the middle east. I'm not a date setter, I just think that this year we will see a beginning of the end. Now it probably seems pretentious for me to say that on the day Sharon has a stroke, but it did remind me of my though/feeling. I thought I should post it officially, even though I could always change the date on my blog. Oh well, just take my word for it. keep your eyes and ears open.

the end has always been near. christians have been saying so since the time that Jesus left. i see no more reason to expect or not-expect the end today, or in 1000 years. there is no certainty thus we should live our entire lives as though NOW was the end, but also as though it might not be. it is a complicated call we Christians have.
when we've been here ten thousand years even, we've no less days than when we first begun.
i just butchered the quote by rmeoving half of it, but i always thought that verse meant exactly hat amy just said.
Yeah, I agree with you too, I've just had a feeling about this year for about 6 years, don't know why necissarily. I guess because it's actually 2000 years from Christ's going to heaven, according to the Jewish lunar calender. Or one of the ancient calender's , I can't remember.
I'm not saying we should do anything different, merely to keep our eyes and ears open for the "signs of the season" out of pure excitment and joy that it could be any day that out King Returns, Maranatha!!
but if you are going by 2000 years, why didn't he come back after 1000? or perhaps it will b 3000? i think it's dangerous to put dates on things. but anyway, maybe you will be right after all. who can know but God alone?
