emptiness consumes the mind
exclusivity gives us a sense of importance. It gives us a sense of safety and comfort. We feel in. We feel secure. We know if no one else will the other will. Hope springs forth, from a relationship where you know you, and the other, are the only ones' object of affection and trust. Hope for the future, hope for life, hope for fun, hope for laughter. Now remove exclusivity and all those feelings and emotions become the opposite.

i have decided that i will not be ready for a relationship until i can feel important and safe and hopeful for the future just as I am. I have God and I have who I am, I think we need to be happy in that before we can truly be ready to fully give ourselfs in a relationship. however, i to decide to become that type of content and to actually do it are two very different things. i am working on it. sort of.
it is never a lack of knowing WHAT needs to happen, it's always WANTING to do it.
you cannot change how you feel. But you can change how you handle what you feel. I agree with you completely.
